This national park is popular for rapids i.e. to see exposed rocks above the surface of a flowing river. But during my visit, it was a rainy season where the level of the river was very high and muddy so I couldn't see any rapids. However, I enjoyed walking and taking photographs on the longest suspension bridge in northeastern region of Thailand. During the rainy season, there is nothing more to see therefore I would recommend you all to visit during the dry season so that you can enjoy the view of rapids as well as take a walk on the rapids.
Entry fee: fee applicable as per the fixed-rate of National park entrance fee.
Time of travel: August 2018.
A really nice natural park. Well maintained and the facilities are clean. Has areas for camping or you can rent a cabin. Has the largest suspension bridge in the Northeast. Went during January and the river is low so you can see the exposed rocks. Has a trail for hiking (3k) and picnic areas. A nice day trip. 5 January 2020
The park is used to visit the beautiful rapids of the Mun River and the suspension pedestrian bridge. For foreigners it costs 200 baht, while for Thais only 20 baht. Unbearable discrimination. However, I liked it.
Nice Park with 2 bridges : one new (people worked on it) and one old (dangerous). A lot of spots to take nice pictures.
Trails are not very nice at this time (dry and hot) and indications are poor.
Very nice and super clean well kept National Park / campgrounds with a wonderful view of the Khonc Jaim valley.
My only major frustration is the 400 Baht entry fee for all foreigners into the …
A nice Daily Trip, huge Rivers, the longest Suspension Bridge of the Nordeast Region.
Really big national park with great and famous bridge to shoot a little thing called love, glad to be here
Not many things too see. Foreigners have to pay 100B per entry. What you can do are trekking on the small island, walking on the suspension bridge, the longest one in northeastern Thailand, and observing small wild creatures.
A nice shirt hike across the two suspension bridges and the island in the center of the river.
Nice and very well kept Natural park. The rapids are beautiful and worth a hike on the rocks. Also visit the Golden Buddha cve a bit if a hike but really worth it. Great view spots on the cave hike, awesome rock waterfall where you can …
